He Worked with Marvin Gaye and the Four Tops; This Wednesday He’ll Be at Dante Park

WHO: World-renowned jazz guitarist Mike Jackson, who worked with such greats as Marvin Gaye, the Four Tops, and the Marvelettes, “is performing with his own trio in Dante Park this Wedneday afternoon, as part of the Lincoln Square BID’s free, weekly summer concert series, Summer Jazz Sensations,” a press release announced.

During the performance, the audience can snack on plant-based, organic refreshments from Le Botaniste, with drinks and treats under $5 each. During the break, the Westside YMCA will provide a complimentary “Chair-Y Yoga” demonstration.

WHEN: Wednesday, July 12, 2023, Noon to 1:30 p.m.

(Rain date Friday, July 14, Noon to 1:30 p.m., Dante Park)

WHERE: Dante Park, 64th Street and Broadway

The 90-minute outdoor concert series is open to the public for free and held every Wednesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. This year, it runs through August 30, and will feature “exciting talent, delicious treats from neighborhood restaurants, educational and wellness demonstrations, and plenty of community fun!”
