The West Side Community Garden will hold its annual tulip festival starting this weekend at the garden on 89th Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Columbus. The garden has an astounding 13,000 tulips, and flowering trees too.

Volunteers will be there to answer questions and hand out materials and Garden event schedules for 2018. There will also be walking tours by WSCG’s Chief Horticulturalist Tom Thies.

How gorgeous! And a lot of work for volunteers. Thank you very, very much. Gardens like this help to make the City true communities, as well.

“This weekend” wasn’t the weekend. Most still hadn’t bloomed. Maybe next weekend.
