Taxi fares could jump as much as 20% under a proposal from taxi drivers. A public hearing will be held on May 31. “The last across-the-board increase in taxi fares was in 2004, when the fare rose by 26 percent. In 2006, the city raised the price charged for each minute a cab is stopped or moving slowly; in 2009, a 50-cent surcharge was added to help support the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.” (NY Times)

Dang! Those knives ARE sharp!
So, in addition to the common varieties of sushi, like “Oshizushi” or “Makizushi,” was he trying to emulate Hannibal Lecter (he who often had friends-for-dinner) and concoct ‘Patrisushi’?
And, as he did the dastardly deed, did he hum a revised version of the Eddie Cantor classic, “If you knew sushi, like I know sushi….”
