News:
An unidentified 24-year-old woman dined and dashed last weekend at a barbeque restaurant on 72nd Street (unidentified, but the only one on the block is Dallas BBQ). When a restaurant employee chased her outside, she hit him over the head with an umbrella and bit him in the chest. Clearly, she was very, very hungry. Luckily, cops were right there and arrested her. (NY Press)
Red Farm, the super-popular Chinese restaurant in the Village that is supposedly coming to the Upper West Side, should open in the fall. Exact location still unknown. (New York Post, end of article)
A big show for decorators will be held in the Aldyn this year after moving from Kips Bay. (NY Times)
Sambuca is also on the block, across the street from Dallas BBQ. Pain Quotidien is down the block.
Ok, Dallas BBQ is the only BBQ place on the block. Sorry about that.
