CENTRAL PARK ACROBATICS: MUST SEE TO BELIEVE

Central Park’s performers are back in action, and I snapped some shots of a particularly fun performance today on The Mall just South of Bethesda Fountain.

After a dance performance, one of the acrobats lined a bunch of kids up in a row, and pledged to jump over all of them. He faked them out — jumping over five standing people would have literally been impossible — but it elicited some hilarious reactions from the kids.

Then another acrobat really did vault over four kids, who bent down and touched their toes.

Okay, fine I’m basically a tourist.
