News:
Jillian Recchi, one of the women who was hit by a speeding black Lexus on Thursday night at 70th Street and Broadway, is still in a coma. The other woman, Dana Laven, was also seriously injured and just started to walk again on Monday. The two mothers are both in their 40s. The Lexus, which was supposedly traveling 60 mph up Broadway before slamming into the women — so hard it knocked one of the women literally out of her boots and socks — sped away after the crash. Police apparently don’t have surveillance video or a solid witness in the case. If you saw anything, call 1-800-577-TIPS. (NY Daily News)
