A black Lexus slammed into two women walking across Broadway at West 70th Street at around 11:24 p.m. Thursday night, sending both to the hospital, the FDNY tells us. Then the driver sped away.
The Post has more on the story, reporting that one of the women was knocked into the grassy traffic island on Broadway. The women were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where one was listed in critical condition and the other was stable. A witness told the Post that one of the women appeared to be pregnant, although it’s unclear if that woman was the one in critical condition.
As of this morning, the driver still hadn’t been caught.
