William Gibbs, a suspect in a string of Chelsea muggings targeting elderly men, is thought to have struck on the Upper West Side on Wednesday, assaulting and robbing an 85-year-old man at the B/C station on 72nd Street. The mugger grabbed the victim by his neck and threw him to the ground, then reached into his pocket, grabbed his money and fled, according to ABC News. Gibbs is 5’6″ and 210 pounds and is also known as Michael Johnson. He is 43 years old. If you know anything about this, call 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
