A new Ollie’s just opened, and a ramen spot and are on its way.
Ollie’s opened on Broadway between 103rd and 104th street on Tuesday, replacing an Ollie’s location that closed after a fire on 116th last year.
The owners of sushi restaurant Tenzan are opening Zurutto Ramen and Gyoza Bar at 142 West 72nd street, the former home of Red Stone Cafe. An employee at Tenzan said he thinks it’s supposed to open in a couple of weeks. The website promises that “Locally sourced produce and the freshest ingredients means Zurutto Ramen that is exceptional in taste.” The menu wasn’t yet posted as of Wednesday morning. They’ve applied for a liquor license, one tipster notes.
