Voices Carry is a daytime recreational theater workshop that is designed for adults of all experience levels – no auditions required! Whether you are a first-time performer, a seasoned veteran or someone who wants to reignite a past passion for theater, Voices Carry offers a unique opportunity to perform on-stage in New York City.

VoicesCarry2“Our mission is to help people find their voice and build confidence by stepping out of their comfort zone and onto the stage,” says co-founder Nanne Allecia. “Our team of top theater industry professionals fosters a creative and positive environment that is both challenging and fun.”

Voices Carry is a 10-week theater workshop that rehearses during the day and includes two live performances on an Off-Broadway stage. Participants learn the ins-and-outs of a musical production, including music, choreography and acting. The Fall 2015 session runs from September 22nd to November 23rd and will feature the musical review Voices Carry: Here and Now, which spotlights songs from popular shows like Cabaret, Avenue Q, Gypsy, Rent, Pippin and more.

Come meet the instructors and take part in a practice rehearsal during Voices Carry’s FREE Fall Open House.

Thursday, September 17th
9:30am-1:00pm
Ripley Grier Studios (131 West 72nd Street, New York, NY).
