Check out two events series in the neighborhood that will run through August.
The Fairway Cafe on the second floor of the store on Broadway between 74th and 75th is hosting jazz nights every Wednesday and Saturday from 7-9 through the end of August. “Fairway has partnered with the Jazz Foundation of America (JFA) to support veteran Jazz musicians and ‘Save Jazz and Blues One Musician at a Time.’ Jazz bands include Sharon Fischer & Friends featuring Bill Wurtzel on June 25th, and the Kelvyn Bell Trio on June 28th…In addition to the full Café dinner and drinks menu, Fairway will have special menu items including NYC’s best Onion Rings, Smoked Salmon Sandwich, Mimosas and Red and White Sangria.” The music is free for people who sit down to eat at the cafe.
