Construction Workers Douse Fire from Dangling Platform

Construction workers put out a tarp fire on 78th and Broadway on Tuesday morning by throwing water from their suspended platform. JP, our tipster, caught the action from his apartment while working from home.

“Four fire trucks came to 78th street and Broadway where a construction worker was welding and a tarp caught on fire. The construction workers helped put out the fire with a bucket of water while FDNY came to the rescue and finished the job. Lots of excitement for a Tuesday morning!”

Well done, construction workers and firefighters!
