Photo of the Day: A Monstrous Creature Coasts Up the Hudson

May 20, 2019 | 2:55 PM
in ABSURDITY, OUTDOORS
19

Sarah B. Roberts caught site of a massive pink object being pushed up the Hudson River by what looks like a tug boat on Monday. It looks somewhat like a flamingo, but we can’t be sure.

If you are an ornithologist, please tell us what we’re looking at.

Watched a lighted billboard coast up the Hudson on Saturday.

Times Square comes North.

Welcome to The New Upper West Side!

Yes! I’m shocked I haven’t heard more about this. We see it a few times a week now and it’s just awful! I read there’s a lawsuit about it over zoning laws. Can’t stop soon enough!

I have no idea what the heck that thing is or what it’s for but I like it!!

Reminds me of a gigantic rubber ducky I saw once. It was the size of a small building. I think it was in Chicago for something or other. Maybe I’ll google it?

Well I was close…apparently it’s by some Dutch artist and it has been on tour all over the world. Kinda cool!

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it’s probably a duck.

It’s a promotion for PepsiCo. Had the same in a few other cities.

If Pepsi is promoting it’s business, then you have to choose between pepsi products or buy Pepsi stock…one will help you put on weight …the other will help you …put money in the bank. You can of course do both. Enjoy!

I’ve heard of showboating, but this takes the cake. BTW does anyone else feel sick after drinking Diet Pepsi?

I’m pretty sure it’s modeled after one of these inflatable flamingo floats: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KLLM8VQ/ref=sspa_dk_detail_3
