The flu is hitting the city very hard this year, and Upper West Siders are feeling the pain. Metropolitan Pediatrics doctor Timothy Sasala (87th Street) says on twitter that the flu is the “bug of the week” and that “seasonal influenza is intensifying greatly.” More info from the city on the flu here.
Controversial restaurant Papasito’s on 104th and Broadway has closed. Neighbors said it was a nuisance to the neighborhood, and the restaurant was temporarily shut down last year for serving alcohol to minors. Thanks to George for the tip.
