News:
Principal Brett Gallini, who has gotten credit for reinvigorating PS 165 on West 109th Street, is leaving suddenly in the middle of the school year to take over a new Harlem charter school. (DNAinfo)

Davidovich Bakery is positioning itself as the heir to the H&H Bagel empire. As we reported last week, Davidovich wants to take over H&H’s famous Upper West Side store on 80th Street, but that may not be happening. The Queens-based company may also rent out H&H’s midtown bagel plant. (Wall Street Journal)

Rumors abound about innovative Chinese restaurant Red Farm (pastrami egg rolls!) coming to the Upper West Side, but no location has been named. (amNY)
