Theo Oshiro spotted Jerry Seinfeld filming on West 77th street between Broadway and West End Avenue on Wednesday morning. Judging from the nifty car in the shoot, it’s probably another episode of his web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.” He appeared to be with Steve Martin, Theo says.
Question for car nerds: what’s the make and model of the vehicle below?
I kinda know cars and I believe it is an Aston Martin. Which makes sense given how Jerry Seinfeld does the show with a car that makes sense for the guest, get it Aston “Martin”?
You’re on the right track, especially judging by the general profile and the vent aft of the wheel and before the door. It could be a DB4 GT Zagato, but the rear-end and window treatment doesn’t match exactly. Hmm.
Jaguar XKE 1968?
Model T Ford?
Here’s where they went to eat:

(Whoever identified the car as a red mustang clearly doesn’t know anything about cars.)
Aston Martin and Jaguar are both good guesses (the front grill is very Aston Martin like). Mustang… Not so much.
That’s a very rare Siata 208CS. Assuming it’s an original numbers matching car that’s a ~$1.5 million dollar car.
He gets an amazing range of cars on this show. Some are outrageously valuable and others less so
200CS not 208CS, I think.
Nope, 208CS is correct. 20 for 2.0 liter, 8 for 8 cylinders. CS for Competition Sport.
Thank you for chiming in.
At first I thought Cisitalia 202, but the vent and fender sweep through me off, so I was erroneously thinking Aston with Italian coachwork.
