It’s St. Patrick’s Day, or PaDDy’s Day, never Patty
“St. Paddy’s Day”
Love the misspellings! That’s about it.
I like your cartoons but wish you wouldn’t use the word “Patty” in place of “Patrick.” Patty is a female name and not the name of a Saint, as far as I know.
C’mon, guys. It’s “Paddy’s! Patty is a girl’s name.
It isn’t St. Patty’s Day! It is St. Paddy’s Dsy!
Ugh…It’s St. Paddy’s Day, not St. Patty’s Day!
“Itineria? “
In my book that counts as three places 🙂
The holiday is St. Patrick’s Day. If you shorten the Patron Saint of Ireland’s name, then it’s “St. Paddy’s Day,” never “St. Patty’s Day.”
And the holiday is about celebrating Irish heritage, not putting forth the trope that Americans with Irish heritage go drinking at bars to celebrate. Are you aware that “hooligan” is a derogatory term ?
Please — on the UWS we use the formal name Saint Patricia. St. Patty and the Shenanigans are her rock group.
Hamburger patty day?
