Put that cupcake down!
Fashion Week starts on Thursday, and it’s important we look our best. And yet, there’s lots of food to eat, including special price fixe deals offered by restaurants around Lincoln Center. The meals mostly cost about $25 for lunch and $35 for dinner, though the prices vary (there’s even a price fixe breakfast — hey, price fixe me an egg and cheese on a roll, buddy!) The Lincoln Square BID has the full list here, and the participants are listed on the poster below.
They’re just catering to the fancy visitors who traipse through our neighborhood in their fancy shoes, you say? Well, yeah…As long as they’re opening their fancy wallets.

Is it possible that the above photo, featuring three cupcake-eating Southern belles, or Midwest matrons, or at least definitely NOT-NYers in 1965 finery was supposed to accompany a different article…one entitled Fashion WEAK???
