It’s the final home game for these Lions, and everything’s on the line versus Harvard on Saturday. With a win over the Crimson, the Lions will earn no less than a share of their fourth straight league title, as well as the number 1 seed at this year’s Ivy League Tournament. Coming off road wins against Yale and Brown last weekend, the Lions will be led by guard Riley Weiss, a junior from Long Island and the league’s leading scorer, averaging almost 20 points per game. The first 300 fans will get their choice of one giveaway item, and before the game, graduating members of the team will be honored during a Senior Day ceremony.

Brahms called his “Ein Deutsches Requiem” his “Human Requiem” – which makes sense given the comfort its words seem to offer, and how it lifts the souls of listeners. The Cathedral Choirs and Orchestra will perform it this Saturday along with Sibelius’ dramatic Symphony No.3, and Carlos Simon’s “Elegy: A Cry from the Grave.” Then on Sunday at 12:30, the Cathedral will host a conversation with Rev. Winnie Vargehese and Dr. Amy-Jill Levine, scholar of biblical studies and Jewish-Christian relations, called “In the Beginning was the Word.” It’s part of the church’s “Dialogues on Diversity” series. Tickets start at $5.
