This newly constructed property in Manhattan Valley (CB #7) consists of 198 units of affordable housing. These units feature GE appliances, engineered stone countertops, luxury vinyl tile flooring, and more.

This building is being constructed through the Supportive Housing Loan Program (SHLP) of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development. Supportive housing is permanent, affordable housing with on-site support services to serve the needs of the most vulnerable New Yorkers, including the formerly homeless and disabled.

Sixty percent of units in supportive housing are set aside for low income or formerly homeless individuals or families with special needs, who are referred by city agencies. The remaining forty percent of units in the building are made available to the public through lottery. The 79 units listed in this notice are only those made available to the general public.

Amenities include: Bike storage lockers, Air-conditioning, Community center, Children’s playroom, Shared laundry room, Pedestrian-friendly, Bus stop/Public transportation access, Media room, Outdoor areas, Pet-friendly, Community events and classes, Recreation room, Outdoor terrace, Common area Wifi, and Free high-speed internet.

For more information on eligibility and how to apply, see this document. And for more information, go to www.wsfsshatwest108.org.

Our primary goal is to create a safe and respectful space where a broad spectrum of voices can be heard. We welcome diverse viewpoints and encourage readers to engage critically with one another’s ideas, but never at the expense of civility. Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration. Comments that take cheap shots, escalate conflict, or veer into ideological warfare detract from the constructive spirit we aim to cultivate.
