Bronx Man Arrested in Double Homicide on 102nd Street

Police arrested a 22-year-old man from the Bronx on Thursday in connection with the killing of two men in the hallway of a building at 868 Amsterdam Avenue, off of 102nd Street. The victims — Dominic Barrera and Octavio Figueroa — were found with multiple stab wounds on May 29.

Tayvius Lewis was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon. Police say the case is still under investigation.  They’ve released photos and videos of people wanted for questioning.
