The Pumpkin Leader of the Free World and More UWS Halloween Decorations

Hopefully, Halloween won’t get rained out on Thursday, because there are so many elaborate decorations to see right now on the Upper West Side.

The display below was on a stoop on 74th Street and was spotted by @nyc_morgan.

Robyn Roth-Moise posted a whole video of decorations:

And the people on 69th Street went big, as always:

    2. Watto says:

What a wonderful display of the pumpkin face Trump … a good likeness! Love the IMPEACH little pumpkins!
      Bravo!!!!!!

    3. alicia says:

We can’t even have Halloween without Libs bringing politics into it. How sad for the children.

      • UWSDrew says:

Alicia, some of us aren’t “libs”… we’re just not idiots.

      • Merry says:

You could always move to a totalitarian state where free speech is limited. Like Russia.

      • Tim says:

Exactly Alicia. TDS is a real thing, sadly.

It’s a shame the WSR chooses to share this blatant, negative political display when they’re SO many pure Halloween displays in the neighborhood. Check out 69th between CPW and Columbus!

      • Sarah says:

I couldn’t agree more. It’s disgusting what poor losers you Dems are. Have a little respect for our president and and keep your hatred off the stoop. I wouldn’t eat your candy! Boo,West Side Rag!

        • patty says:

Sarah you are scary. Respect. He has no respect for anyone. I’m not a Dem. I am an Independent and Trump is an imbecile, sorry you are not able to see and understand this. Grab a ticket to Russia, you’ll fit in well there.

        • NotLindseyGraham says:

          Sarah,
Maybe the person who should take the lead in respecting the presidency is Trump himself. Have you seen him at his rallies when he mocks the very idea of being “presidential”? Ronald Reagan so respected the position he held that, it’s said, he wouldn’t sit in the Oval Office without a jacket on. Donald Trump befouls the Oval Office the moment he steps foot in it.

        • Diane says:

I have no respect for him. Never did. never will. He’s a liar and a thief, he’s got no moral compass, he is a braggart, a buffoon, a narcissist, an embarrassment. A title doesn’t guarantee respect. Why can’t you Trumpers see that he is systematically tearing apart all the good that has been building in this country for the last 100 years. Democrats, Republicans, Liberals – they all had a part in creating better laws. He delights in ripping things (and people) apart. He behaves like a 4 year old. His platform is hate. He promotes bad behavior. It’s not a question of parties…it’s a question of his ilk -evil people vs. people who became elected officials to help build a better USA. His MAGA slogan is BS. He doesn’t care about America or anyone but himself and people follow him and adore him…why? Are you just blind to the truth? Your President couldn’t find the truth if it was written on his golden toilet. What has he done for anyone but himself. All he wants to do is WIN. Everyone who doesn’t worship him is a loser. He’s a joke and the whole world knows it. And, by the way, he’s already made the history books as the dumbest President ever elected. Go ahead and hitch your wagon to the psychopath-in-chief. He’ll turn on everyone eventually. I’m waiting for him to implode which WILL happen when he is impeached and thrown out on his ass.. God save the children.

          • Evan Bando says:

Well said, Diane. I have no doubt you could go on and on. I feel sorry for anyone who would defend and vote for trump a second time. They are lost. They have failed the litmus test for adulthood and integrity. They are not serious people. And they are a danger to the country. Vote him out and then, Democratic or Republican or Independent, we’ll go from there. And no MAD and UWSHebrew, we cannot relax even 24 hours as long as the cancer remains in the body politic.

      • MAD says:

Agree with Alicia. Can’t we just have one day of fun without all the political drama? Believe me, it won’t go away if you give it a rest for 24 hours.

      • UWSHebrew says:

They have an illness. It’s called TDS. I wonder what will happen to their mental state when he gets re-elected.

        • Steve says:

UWSHebrew, a member of the administration made a report about the president making a possible illegal act. The report was investigated (by the president’s administration) and found to be true.

What should the people do? Let a law be broken? Not worry about it? (I used to be a republican, btw, but of the law and order, fiscal responsibility, small government type. I left the party long before this president was elected.)

      • Westsidegal says:

Agree. TDS is deep on the UWS,

      • Darla says:

        Agreed!

    4. Orange is the New Orange says:

The Not So Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!! Hahahaha! Love it – a work of art. Boo-hoo!

    5. Kaz says:

The people who are seething at stuff like this are the same ones who turn around and mock liberals for being “special snowflakes.” Get a grip!

    6. Morrie Ross says:

Why on earth would you want to impeach President Trump, the greatest president this country has ever had?

    7. Sigrid says:

That is, without doubt, the greatest pumpkin of all times ๐Ÿ˜€

    8. Christina says:

LOL! Love the Trump Pumpkin with โ€œImpeachโ€! Great! Freedom of Speech at its Best!!!

    9. Elaine Toth says:

      Amazing the Libtards
      The can spell.

      • NotImpressed says:

Umm, if you’re going to bash the intelligence of others, you should probably do so using proper English and good grammar.

    10. Oona says:

The 45 PunkinLumplin likness was fabulous. Commenters might lighten up a bit as we celebrate the meeting of the worlds tonight. Happy Samhain Everyone – if you listen carefully you may hear the drums begin to beat in sync with the heartbeat of the Universe…as the reunion begins between the living and the dead.

    11. Vince says:

Have some respect for our current president. I hope you are well prepared for the chaos ahead. The dems could not beat Trump in a fair election, so they have united to carry out a criminal coup attempt against him. With a vote today, 232 members of Congress just declared themselves to be enemies of the people and criminal co-conspirators against America.
Regardless of your politics, this has huge implications for us all. It means the dems are willing to thrust America into chaos and possibly even a civil war. Whatever it takes. They will do anything to seize power and retroactively nullify the 2016 election because they don’t like the way the people voted.

      • Kathleen says:

@ Vince and the rest of the trump supporters here and elsewhere: Wow. I’m just stunned that people are so completely delusional. Really stunned and speechless. That anyone can so distort the reality of what’s going on is beyond comprehension.

        • uwsanon says:

I agree, Kathleen. I go back and forth between disbelief there are this many people in our country with a complete lack of intelligence– or disbelief that they understand and agree with him. Someone mentioned he is our “greatest president ever”. I mean, what? On so many levels, what? What has he actually accomplished that makes him so great? They can never actually explain that.

          • Sherman says:

I canโ€™t stand Trump but I happen to agree with Vince.

The leading Democratic contenders are a bunch of lemons and will likely get crushed by Trump.

If the Dems really want to get rid of Trump they should nominate someone who appeals to the majority of Americans – not a radical left minority.

This impeachment nonsense is only happening because the Dems (rightly) fear they will lose in 2020.

    12. Sarah says:

I actually looks like Hillary after she lost the election.

    13. Filatura says:

Robyn Roth-Moise’s beautifully-composed Trumpkin photo was included in a Hallowe’en feature on MSNBC Thursday evening (10/31). Too bad there was no credit for her or for the Rag. (At least none that I saw.)

    14. Pumpkin Pie says:

Love the Trumpkin!!! A pumpkin is worth a thousand Tweets.

    15. llon says:

Wait…what’s the article about? Halloween or Trump?

    16. Yael says:

LOVE the Halloween displays, especially the Drumpfhkin…Hilarious! Thank you for this, WSR!

    17. Tim says:

Regardless of your politics, can’t people set aside their differences for ONE day to celebrate essentially a holiday meant for children?! It’s amazing the TDS that has gripped people so tightly. They are obsessed. It’s no wonder they have created safe spaces on college campuses for fear of young people being “triggered”.

      • UWSHebrew says:

Not on the UWS. People are obsessed with Trump, I overhear angry, unhinged conversations everywhere I go. Psychologists must be making a fortune these days in Manhattan.
