What should the people do? Let a law be broken? Not worry about it? (I used to be a republican, btw, but of the law and order, fiscal responsibility, small government type. I left the party long before this president was elected.)

Maybe the person who should take the lead in respecting the presidency is Trump himself. Have you seen him at his rallies when he mocks the very idea of being “presidential”? The dems could not beat Trump in a fair election, so they have united to carry out a criminal coup attempt against him. With a vote today, 232 members of Congress just declared themselves to be enemies of the people and criminal co-conspirators against America.
Regardless of your politics, this has huge implications for us all. It means the dems are willing to thrust America into chaos and possibly even a civil war. Whatever it takes. I agree, Kathleen. I go back and forth between disbelief there are this many people in our country with a complete lack of intelligence– or disbelief that they understand and agree with him.
