There are lost of great local events on our calendar, but we wanted to highlight a few special ones coming up in the next week or so that you’ll want to put on your calendar.
1. Bowie Symphonic, Saturday, June 9, from 7-10 p.m. (doors open at 6) at Summerstage’s Rumsey Playfield in Central Park: The late great David Bowie recorded his final album Blackstar in secret, and an orchestra will play the whole thing at Summerstage. More here.
2. Naumberg Bandshell Concert, Tuesday, June 12, 7:30-9:30 p.m. at the Bandshell near 72nd Street in the middle of Central Park. Ensemble LPR will play a variety of classical music. More here.
3. NY Philharmonic in the Park, Wednesday, June 13, at 8 p.m. on the Great Lawn in Central Park. Bring a blanket and a picnic for this annual event! More here.
“Lost of great local events”? Strange typo!
I hate to be Johnny raincloud but it’s schedule to rain on Wednesday on the New York Philharmonic concert in Central Park on the Great Lawn.
