So glad they were able to catch that cat. My idiot neighbors have a few cats and they leave their ‘doggie’ door open all the time & the cats come and go and spend most of their time crying outside of our garden door. Awful people.
This does not look like one of theirs.
These kids today.
bring cat to vet to see if microchipped. if not please bring to a NO KILL shelter or rescue group
Since you’re so generous as to what this cat needs, why don’t you volunteer to spend half your day at the vet and a shelter? Or is it you just feel so darn good about yourself when you tell others how to spend their time on your causes?
Thank you to whoever saved this cat from certain death!
This super sweet boy is not microchipped and has no infectious diseases. They approximate that he is 2 years old. I took him to the vet tonight! He is up for adoption and you’ll be able to see his adorable picture on City Vet Care’s Facebook page tomorrow!
Thank you Debbie for stepping up and doing the right thing. This little kitty will find a good home now (and hopefully one that won’t let him wander away). Good karma (maybe kitty karma if you need) coming your way.
Why not try to put flyers up in the area the cat was found first to see if the owner comes forward. I’m surprised the cat is already up for adoption without giving a chance for the owner to find it.
If someone left/forgot their cat out like that…they don’t love their cat..or has alzehiemrs…either way..they shouldn’t be allowed to be responsible for animals or children.
Antoinette: I searched as many lost pet websites as exist. I scoured Facebook. I called all local vets. NO ONE is looking for this poor kitty. He was definitely outside for quite some time and deserves a loving home. Neighbors near where he was found report having heard him cry for days (awful to even think of that).
Sorry…in reading my original comment, I didn’t mean to be so critical. Thank you for stepping up and helping this cat.
I’m so happy this cat is with City Vet to find a good home. He looks like a nice kitty. Thanks to the person who found him.
This is so sad! We live above Dive 75 and heard a cat meowing at night probably starting mid to late last week. We went out and looked for it but couldn’t see anything. Glad someone found it.
Awesome to save this cat. Poor thing definitely would have had trouble staying warm with your help. I do wonder if putting up fliers could help united the cat. It is obvious that she was well cared for and loved. Many older folks do not use Facebook or internet-based Lost/Found sites and rely on old skool methods to find lost pets.
Thank you Debbie! You showed kindness, compassion and, most likely, saved a life. Your actions are appreciated.
Notify Angellicle Cats.
They are a wonderful adoption agency!!!
DO NOT GIVE TO JUST ANY ANIMAL SHELTER!
Anjellice is AMAZING!!!!!! They will only take in a stray if they have a foster for it, however. Thankfully this super sweet boy has a warm, caring home to stay in for the next week, and several people are helping network for him.
