WATCH: MASSIVE LIGHT FIXTURE CRASHES TO GROUND AT AMC THEATER

amc 84th

The burst pipe at the AMC Theater on 84th and Broadway that we reported on this morning caused more damage than just a little flooding. It turns a light fixture in the lobby crashed to the flooded floor. It was caught on tape, and shown in the clip below.

You can hear screams and then someone says smartly “All right, let’s get outta here.”

A sprinkler apparently froze and burst, according to CBS. The theater was closed for six hours and customers could use their tickets at other AMC theaters.

So water is pouring through the roof and management still allows customers inside? Sure we’ll just tape that area off. Real bright.

As I’m sure someone here from the local intelligentsia will soon point out, this would have never happened before DeBlasio was Mayor!
