Frank Herrera, a 51-year-old man, was arrested on charges of killing another tenant on July 27 at the Narragansett Hotel, an SRO at 2508 Broadway between 93rd and 94th Streets. The deceased person’s name hasn’t been released because police have not been able to find a next-of-kin to tell. The Times takes a longer look inside the SRO. (NY Times and DNAinfo)

$225 per linear foot is tiny compared to mooring downtown. If you check out the rates at North Cove at the WFC – its many multiples of that per foot. Why should mooring a boat in Manhattan be cheap or City-subsidized? Market rate!
