On Earth Day, Gale Brewer is teaming with Sims Recycling Solutions and Upper West Side Recycling Center (UWSRC) “in an attempt to break an official Guinness World Record for the most consumer electronics recycled within 24 hours” at multiple locations. “All items brought for recycling will be safely and responsibly recycled by Sims Recycling Solutions. The event will be held on April 21, 2012, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Public School 87’s playground located on West 77th, just east of Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY 10024.”
