Thanks to a generous grant from UJA-Federation of New York, the entire Upper West Side Jewish community is coming together for a multiday immersive Israeli experience with program offerings for the whole family. Enjoy Israel through music, food, art, movement, theater, animation, and more. The celebration begins on Sunday, April 30, when the UWS community will gather for a day of programs for all ages, including a kosher street food festival, a lecture with Knesset Member Omer Bar-Lev, a Tour of Israel indoor-cycling class, a culinary journey to Israel, an Israeli sing-along for families, and more.
On Monday, May 1, we will commemorate Yom HaZikaron with programs including Songs of Remembrance; Dida Pelled: Israeli Jazz and Blues Cabaret; 50 Years Since 1967, An Evening of Ceremony and Reflection; and more. And finally, we convene on Tuesday, May 2, with our community-wide Party by the Shore at the 79th Street Boat Basin, where your first drink is on us.
