Marking Moments: How Events To Life Helps Families Celebrate Milestones

When you look back on your life, what do you remember? Not the ordinary Tuesday at work. Not the hours scrolling through your phone. You remember moments. Your daughter transitioning from a girl to a woman of the Jewish faith at her bat mitzvah. Your son stepping into adulthood at his wedding. Your nephew’s college graduation. Your grandmother’s birthday surrounded by family.

These moments matter. And the celebration around them matters too.

As an event planner of 13 years, I have worked with families across the Upper West Side and beyond, and I have learned something important: marking these transitions is not just about throwing a fabulous party. It is about gathering the people you love, acknowledging a change, and creating a memory that will last.
This is what Events To Life was founded on: celebrating milestone events and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Why We Celebrate Milestone Events

Ritual and celebration serve a purpose. They help us acknowledge transitions, connect us to our past and future, and bring people together when you might not see each other otherwise.

One of the things I love most about my work is the diversity of the families, communities, and events I encounter. A bat mitzvah for one family looks nothing like a bat mitzvah for another. Both are rooted in tradition and celebration, but they each connect with the families they are curated around.

I have worked with mothers and grandmothers, couples planning unplugged weddings, and families hosting Upsherins, a Jewish tradition celebrating a child’s first haircut. I have worked with close-knit families and families flying in from all over the world. There is no right or wrong way to celebrate. There is only your way.

We Handle the Logistics, You Enjoy the Celebration

I tell this to every family I work with: the planning should not be the hardest part of your event. Your job is to show up and be present. My job is to manage everything else.

I carefully match you with trusted vendors who align with your vision. I ask questions you might not think to ask. I follow up when a vendor goes silent. I create timelines. I avoid and solve problems. I shield you from the stress, so that when your big day arrives, you can actually enjoy it.

When you are managing vendors, a guest list, timelines, and your own emotions about your child growing or your marriage beginning, something has to give. Usually, it is your peace of mind. We give it back.

About Events To Life

I founded Events To Life because I believe that milestones deserve more than a checklist. They deserve intention. They deserve someone who understands both the logistics and the meaning behind what you are celebrating.

I specialize in Jewish milestone events, including bar and bat mitzvahs, weddings, and lifecycle celebrations. I work with families across Northern New Jersey and New York City. I meet you where you are. I listen to what matters to you. I help you create an experience that feels authentic to who you are, not what you think you are “supposed” to do.

If you are thinking about celebrating a milestone and you are not sure where to start, or if you already started planning and are feeling overwhelmed, I would love to talk through it with you. There are more options than you might think, and there is a way to honor this moment that feels right for your family.
