Oh, what delight. Bob in WSR this morning (and my coffee is only half gone) and Bob’s Sub stack (with coffee cup full).
I wish the vanishing coffee house became a shoe store! I miss those….it seems nail salons and cannabis dispensaries are what take over the useful shops. But, maybe that’s because I’m on the (upper east) side!
Ironically, although I quickly caught that the drawing is a shoe store, I thought this was going to be about how Barnes & Noble’s cafe has become the new “go-to” place as Starbucks locations nearby the UWS B&N keep closing. And since B&N serves Starbucks coffee, many people think they are a “subsidiary” of Starbucks, including honoring Starbucks cards and programs, which they don’t. They also don’t make iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso. 😉
How about these? Are they cheaper on Amazon too?
It’s hard to keep up. I still look Fowad.
“Coffee house?” What is this, 1956??
