Retirement communities are nice, but the waiting room is where all the action is.

My social calendar now tend to fill up fast — mostly with appointments that end in ‘-ologist.’”
Very funny!
Maybe it’s the other way around: maybe doctors’ appointments were invented to keep us busy in retirement.
And Bingo, Gary. Don’t forget you have Bingo tonight.
Well Gary, it comes with AARP, Medicare and for some AA , along with weekly doctor appointments for every part of the body 😂
And they want you there 15 minutes early so you can wait even longer.
Oh, that’s so true! I love this; I have 2 medical appointments tomorrow…
How true!
True that Gary….and more time for “organ recitals”…..
Love your cartoons.
It does seem that way! Stay well Gary!
Gary nails it again!
ain’t it the truth
Yes, that’s how I socialize now! I compare my aches and pains with other patients in the waiting room. PLUS…. I get educated on new prescription pricing. Ain’t that wonderful while I’m waiting of upwards of an 1/2 hour after my designated appointed. AFTER ALL, “I’M RETIRED NOW”
The new normal.
I hear this from everyone who is retired. Arranging life around Dr appts.
That is exactly correct!
It’s more interesting in the veterinarian waiting rooms. Come back to those!
Retirement: where your social life runs on the doctor’s schedule.
You should lay into the doctors doctors and their staff about the value of your time. It is not only their time that has value.
Lay into the doctors and their staff? You might get scheduled to see the guy whose job title ends with “atrist”.
Funny and scary and true!! 🤣.
I’ve never understood these articles which advise retirees how to spend their time productively. One spends half of the day scheduling appointments and the other half going to them. If there is time in between, you can complete customer satisfaction surveys.
and I thought it was just me.
Funny but, ant the same time, sadly accurate.
Sad, but true. Who knew🤷
