This June ALL ARTS is turning a spotlight on Broadway shows, theater productions and artists as part of a special Broadway and Beyond collection. Here’s everything you need to know.

What Is Broadway and Beyond?

Broadway and Beyond is a special collection of Broadway and other performing arts programs from The WNET Group premiering on-air and online this spring. Curated especially for theater lovers, the lineup includes content and programming from ALL ARTS, American Masters, Great Performances and more.

What Will I See?

Broadway and Beyond features a trove of performances, documentaries and features to discover.
Here are the highlights:
Marquee premieres from ALL ARTS include “Mandy Gonzalez in Concert,” the return of “Broadway Sandwich,” the theater history documentary “Playing the Palace,” new spotlights from the interview series “How Art Changed Me” and “The Gathering: A Journey to Grace.”

Debuts presented as part of this year’s “Broadway’s Best” lineup from Great Performances: “Next to Normal,” “Yellow Face,” “Girl from the North Country“ and “Cole Porter’s Kiss Me, Kate.”

With a theater offering presented nearly every day, the stage never goes dark. But if you’re hoping to hone in your focus, here are some brand new shows to check out this June.

  •  House Seats: Mandy Gonzalez in Concert
    Broadway Star Mandy Gonzalez performs an intimate concert at Long Island University’s Tilles Center. The show features hit songs such as “Satisfied,” “Defying Gravity” and “Fearless,” a personal anthem written for her by Lin- Manuel Miranda
  • Broadway Sandwich
    The New York Emmy-nominated docuseries Broadway Sandwich returns for its fourth season with host Garen Scribner (An American in Paris), offering a behind-the-scenes look at Broadway performers during the break between matinee and evening shows. Each episode features a candid portrait of an artist
    balancing performance and personal life in the heart of New York City’s theater scene. Performers include John Gallagher, Jr. (Swept Away), Tommy Bracco (Titanique), Gavin Gregory (A Wonderful World), Katie Webber (The Great Gatsby), Sarah Meahl (Death Becomes Her) and Tiffany Reneé Thompson,
    Morgan Ashley Bryant, and Camryn Hampton (Little Shop of Horrors).
  • ALL ARTS Documentary Selects: Playing the Palace Hosted by Frank DiLella, “Playing the Palace” takes a look at Broadway’s iconic theater and its rise above Times Square. Featuring interviews with Joel Grey,
    Bernadette Peters, Heather Headley and more.

  • How Art Changed Me
    The Webby Award-winning digital series How Art Changed Me, featuring artists reflecting on the personal and transformative role of the arts in their lives. New episodes feature Broadway and television actors Ann Harada (Avenue Q, Les Misérables) and Conrad Ricamora (Here Lies Love, How to Get Away with Murder). Harada shares stories of her childhood in Hawaii and the impact of theater on her identity and career. Ricamora, who currently stars as Abraham Lincoln in Broadway’s Oh, Mary!, discusses the connection between performance and self-discovery.
  •  House Seats: The Gathering: A Journey to Grace

    A journey inside the making of “The Gathering: A Collective Sonic Ring Shout,” a multidisciplinary performance staged at The Kennedy Center in 2024. The concert was presented in collaboration with the National Black Theatre, the Apollo Theater and The Kennedy Center.
