If you’re lucky enough to enjoy this dish at Scarlatto, you’re lucky enough. I’ve seen it served with other sauces, but why mess with perfection? The lobster is plump and delicious, and the baby clams melt in your mouth. The shrimp and calamari just add more mouthwatering goodness to the mix. The garlic from the sauce is just the right amount, and does not overpower the delicate taste of the seafood.
Scarlatto has a first-class menu with delicious appetizers and wonderful entrees at extremely reasonable prices. This dish is probably their most expensive. Their Caesar salad is the best I’ve had anywhere in the area in years. With shaved Parmesan and croutons that have just a tiny touch of sweetness, it’s a great way to start off your dinner. And you won’t find a better wine list anywhere.

Love this restaurant. Their crabcake is also amazing and one of the best values on the UWS.
It’s true that Scarlatto’s prices are quite reasonable.

I love that the comments are recent!
I had the carbonara to go and it was delicious as well as lasting for two meals. Looks like I have a new favorite restaurant in the hood!
How anyone can crack and eat 2 lobster claws sitting under a pile of pasta and veggies without creating an all around mess is beyond me.
Is my favorite Italian place in the uws
