Police arrested a 40-year-old man for stabbing a woman who was buying a MetroCard at the subway station at 72nd Street and Broadway last Thursday.
“Shamel James, 40, was busted around 1 p.m. and charged with assault, assault with a weapon, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said,” the Post reported.
Transit officers made the arrest, according to the NYPD.
