For families on the Upper West Side, we know this school year is going to be different! But don’t leave Jewish education out of your child’s plans. Jewish Journeys at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan is here to offer your family Jewish education, wherever you are! All classes will be offered online for Fall 2020 for students in Grades 1-7.

To offer our Jewish Journey Project students in grades 3-7 a complete experience online this fall, we are introducing the JJP All-Access Pass, which includes:

  • One weekly small core class. Students will receive a box of fun materials to use for hands-on projects during each session.

  • Monthly weekend intensives. These  will meet four times per semester and  include JBrick: Build Israel in LEGOS, Jewish History Through Minecraft, Bubbie’s Kitchen, JJP Book Club, and The Art of Jewish Papercutting.

  • Sixty minutes per week of one-on-one tutoring in Hebrew and/or JJConnect using Hebrew Homepage, our digital platform.

  • A new offering allowing grandparents and grandchildren to learn together and deepen their connection during this time.

Please limit comments to 150 words and keep them civil and relevant to the article at hand. Comments are closed after six days. Our primary goal is to create a safe and respectful space where a broad spectrum of voices can be heard. We welcome diverse viewpoints and encourage readers to engage critically with one another’s ideas, but never at the expense of civility. Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration. Comments that take cheap shots, escalate conflict, or veer into ideological warfare detract from the constructive spirit we aim to cultivate. A detailed statement on comments and WSR policy can be read here.
