The West Side Community Garden on 89th between Columbus and Amsterdam, which was closed since early in the pandemic, has reopened to the public.

It’s looking pretty great, at least in this photo from Emma Dubin. The hours are noon to 7 p.m.

“As a small public space, Masks and social distancing are mandatory at all times,” the gardeners say. “Welcome back!”

So glad to see this place open! Does anyone know what happened to the community garden on 87th St between Columbus and Central Park West? The gates have been closed for a long time.
