We covered some of the traffic tie-ups caused by the sudden snow on Thursday. But we also got some photos showing the fun and beauty of snow. And one cold peacock.

It was great seeing the children’s glee yesterday when they got out of school and saw snow!

That poor peacock. I know exactly where he is. It’s a small brick tunnel toward the rear of the cathedral right around the corner from his nice warm coop. But he has to venture out into a driving wind and get pelted with thick sleety snow to get there. He looks like he’s thinking “Crap. I can’t. I just can’t. Nope. Can’t do it. No can do. Brrrr… Nature sucks.”

Oh no, did one of St John the Divine’s peacocks escape or wander out in the storm?
