NYC Pickup Sports is proud to announce our new tweens Pickup Girls Volleyball and Pickup Boys Basketball on Saturday nights at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan.
Who: Middle School Boys & Girls
Ages: 11-13
When: Saturday Night from April 14th, 2018 – June 9th, 2018 (Except for May 19th)
Girls Volleyball: 6:15PM – 7:30PM
Boys Basketball – 7:45PM – 9:00PM
Where: Marlene Mayerson JCC Manhattan – 334 Amsterdam Avenue – 3rd Floor Gymnasium
What are Pickup Sports?
Pickup sports are a spontaneous and competitive method of play. The difference between pickup sports and league sports is that we pick new teams every week.
Your child will not be locked or committed to a single team, and will be able to enjoy playing without the weekly pressures of playing in a league. Show up at your convenience and play when you’re free.
With no standings, no winners and no losers, NYC Pickup Sports offers tweens the chance to play basketball or volleyball in a fun, safe and educational setting at one of the most respected establishments on the Upper West Side – The Marlene Mayerson JCC Manhattan.
Our coaches give out tips and instructions during the games to help kids get better and promote game-flow. Your child will come home happy after getting a nice workout playing sports.
Drop your child off at the JCC on Saturday nights with us, go grab some dinner or watch a movie and go back home with a happy camper.
This program is for tweens of any skill level! All we do is play the game… “It’s just Pickup.”
