Police Investigating Stabbing on Amsterdam Avenue

Police responded to a stabbing at 830 Amsterdam Avenue near 100th Street on Sunday around 2:45 p.m., according to an NYPD spokesman.

A man was stabbed and taken to St Luke’s Hospital, but was expected to survive his injuries. A suspect, described as a black male, fled the scene, the spokesman said. NYPD did not have further descriptions of the suspect or his clothes. There was also no information on what led up to the altercation. No arrests had been made as of Sunday evening.
