During this holiday season it is especially tough to find time to incorporate fitness in to your life, so we’ve given you five simple tips to help you get through this month.

1. Don’t have time to get in 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise each day? That’s okay — for health benefits and a extra calorie burn, accumulate 30 minutes instead of doing it all at once. so- 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at night or split into three ten minute bouts.

2. Improve balance by standing on one leg at the bus stop at your desk when working. Lift your heels and toes when standing on line at a movie or restaurant.

3.When sitting on a plane — Sit tall and draw your shoulders towards one another. release and repeat ten times. Turn your head to the right and then left to help prevent neck stiffness. Extend legs and trace the alphabet with your ankles. This will help to keep your ankles loose.

4. Sit to stand from a chair in the office or at home several times a day. Also, try to lie on your back and get up from the floor a couple of times per day. Getting up from the floor will require you to use your muscles in your upper and lower body. Also- try crawling on the floor, as crawling is a great core exercise and is important i you can’t get up from a fall.

5. When talking on the phone, try to march in place to increase your heart rate.

Friday: 30 Minute Circuit training 12:30
Sunday: Yoga @12pm
