At the Ansche Chesed Hebrew School, learners are on a path toward bringing Torah into their lives. We help children discover their spirituality, learn to live the rhythms of Jewish life, discover themselves as members of the Jewish people, and become ansche chesed, people of kindness. Students study Torah, Israel, the Jewish life cycle and calendar, Jewish values, history and identity, mitzvot ( commandments), and Hebrew. Moreover, we create an intimate, warm, connected community of learners. Classes available from Pre-K through Grade 8. Special needs and inclusion tracks available.

Ansche Chesed Hebrew School Open House

Where: Ansche Chesed, 251 W. 100th St, New York, NY 10025
What: Join us at an Open House for Prospective Hebrew School parents! At ACHS, children ages 4 through 14 experience meaningful Jewish living and learning in an open-minded, egalitarian environment. At the Open House, children are welcome to join ACHS teachers for activities and dinner. Parents will meet Education Director Rabbi Yael Hammerman, Rabbi Jeremy Kalmanofsky, current Hebrew School teachers, and parents, and discover our warm and dynamic learning community.

Email Rabbi Yael with questions and to RSVP.
