FURNISHARE’S SUBSCRIPTIONS MAKE FURNITURE AFFORDABLE AND HASSLE-FREE (SPONSORED)

Whether you’re a recent grad or an old hand at city living, sticker shock is very real when you’re on the hunt for a new place. Rents in New York are no joke, and when you do finally find a place you love that fits in your budget, you still have to furnish it.

Luckily, Furnishare has you covered. This new service is seeking to change the way New Yorkers think about furniture (Hint: it doesn’t have to be a major investment that you’re stuck with forever). Instead of spending thousands of dollars to outfit your new place, you can get a furniture subscription instead.

You say you haven’t heard of a furniture subscription? It’s easy. Just choose the pieces you like and select how long you’d like to use them for (to date, subscription periods are three, six or twelve months). For an affordable rate, you can get what you need without having to worry about maxing out your credit card just to have a place to sit.

Furnishare looks to be a dream come true for people who want the freedom to move around a lot — just choose a subscription period that matches the length of your lease, and they’ll come pick up your furniture when you’re ready to move out. All you have to do is pack a few boxes of books and clothes to get on to your next great adventure.

And if you already own a bunch of furniture? You can share it. Furnishare takes care of picking it up and hauling it away, and you get paid when someone chooses to use your stuff. It’s like lending to a friend, but you get money and don’t have to help lug anything up to a fifth-floor walk-up.

The sharing economy is here to stay, and now furniture is a part of it. Rejoice, New Yorkers! Moving just got a whole lot easier.
