The suspect in a stationary store robbery on Feb. 22, captured on surveillance footage.
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man for armed robberies at Europan on 77th street and Broadway and at a Columbus Avenue stationery store.
Willy Paulino, 23, was charged with robbery and attempted robbery, according to Eyewitness News.
The robberies occurred on February 22 and February 23. In the stationery store robbery, in the 600 block of Columbus Avenue, the suspect showed a firearm, but fled when a customer entered. In the Europan robbery, around 2 a.m. on the 23rd, police say Paulino threatened an employee with a firearm before stealing his iPhone.
I think you mean stationery store… (though, one would hope, the store is also stationary)
Thanks, fixed! WSR
Lol, M!
I wonder where young Mr. Paulino is from?
There’s a stationery store at 89th and Columbus? That’s news to me.

I hope that he receives significant punishment this time. And if he is receiving subsidized housing, he should lose that benefit.
Our neighborhood is so safe. Every day there is less and less crime. And with cops everywhere, there’s nothing to fear! What a relief to live in an authentic NYC neighborhood. It’s just like the 70s including the stench. #Blessed
