Police have released an image of a man they say was behind the gunpoint robbery of an employee of Europan on 78th street and Broadway last Monday, and another recent incident at a stationary store in the neighborhood.
Eyewitness News reported that the first incident occurred on Sunday, February 22.
“Investigators say the man was seen threatening a clerk and taking cash from a stationary store on Sunday, and also robbed a Europan restaurant on 2197 Broadway on Monday. In the latter case, police say the man threatened a worker with a gun after the employee followed him out of the building.
The suspect is described as a 20-25 year-old Hispanic male, 5’7″-5’8″ and 140-170 lbs.”
