keshetot

IAC KesheTOT is an innovative program for families with infants and toddlers from birth until 3.5 years old. It is a place where families with young children can meet and deepen a sense of community, flavored by Israeli culture.

Specific programming varies week to week, but includes art, music, stories and movement. Families also celebrate Jewish holidays together in a uniquely Israeli way. Each session includes open play time with art stations, toys and gym equipment.  It also features story time and an age-appropriate music class. IAC KesheTOT is conducted exclusively in Hebrew and run by Israeli teachers. This unique program is great fit for Hebrew speakers and non-Hebrew speakers alike.

Join us to Shir Be’ivrit, (sing along with an Israeli music teacher), Lirkod Be’Ivrit (dance to classic Israeli children’s songs), L’Sahek Be’Ivrity (play in Hebrew) and L’Vnot Kehila Be’Ivrit (build community in Hebrew)!

This year we are lucky enough to be starting IAC Keshetot in TWO locations, one in Brooklyn and one on the Upper West Side.

IAC Keshetot in Brooklyn will be taking place in partnership with Congregation Mount Sinai of Brooklyn Heights.

Location: Congregation Mount Sinai  – 250 Cadman Plaza West, Brooklyn, NY 11201.

IAC Keshetot in Brooklyn will take place every other Saturday from 10:30am -12:00pm beginning October 11th 2014 and will run for 10 sessions.

IAC Keshetot in Manhattan will be taking place in Partnership with Congregation B’nai Jeshurun (BJ) of the Upper West Side.

Location: B’nai Jeshurun – 270 89th St, New York, NY 10024.

IAC Keshetot at BJ will take place Tuesday afternoons from 4-5pm, and BJ members as well as pre-registered IAC Keshetot families will be able to attend a once monthly IAC Keshetot Shabbat Musical gathering.

Our primary goal is to create a safe and respectful space where a broad spectrum of voices can be heard. We welcome diverse viewpoints and encourage readers to engage critically with one another’s ideas, but never at the expense of civility. Disagreement is expected—even encouraged—but it must be expressed with care and consideration. Comments that take cheap shots, escalate conflict, or veer into ideological warfare detract from the constructive spirit we aim to cultivate.
