“The board of 39 W. 67th Street is hauling the penthouse’s owner and her rent-controlled tenant to court to prevent an alleged infestation of ‘5,000 to 10,000’ bedbugs from spreading throughout the 40-unit building, the Manhattan Supreme Court filing states.” The owner says the bugs have been “contained.” (NY Post)

A yogi at Pure Yoga on 77th said she was in the “corpse pose” in a studio when a man came in and sat next to her. “At first Herskovitz, 55, ignored the noise until ‘she felt that there was a person next to her, and she opened her eyes to find a Pure Yoga employee, a maintenance associate, about two feet away, masturbating,'” she said in a lawsuit. “A spokesperson for Pure Yoga said the studio is ‘aware of the allegations and takes them seriously. “Basic Trust, a not-for-profit childcare center, has purchased an Upper West Side townhouse to house its programs. The organization paid $3.8 million for the four-story plus townhouse at 127 West 94th Street. The building offers 5,541 square feet. The deal closed late January.” (Observer)
