Mark O’Donnell, a writer who won a Tony for co-writing Hairspray, collapsed in front of his building on 93rd Street and Riverside Drive on Monday and died. Police tell us that it appears he died of natural causes. O’Donnell also co-wrote Cry-Baby and penned novels and short stories. (Associated Press)
A 73-year-old Italian theater director bought his young lover a $775,000 Upper West Side condo. She left him, and now he’s suing her for the price of the condo plus $1 million. (Daily News)

Well, $400 does seem a bit much … BUT REALLY, those pedalers should have a sliding scale (and a good bathroom scale) AND CHARGE BY WEIGHT!
Have you seen the SIZE of some of the “fly-over state” Midwestern and/or Southern out-of-towners? Even some of the females look like NFL quarterbacks … although not as pretty!!
Imagine schlepping THAT around for an hour in 90-degree-plus weather!
