Electronic waste recycling day is coming up on January 22 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at West 63rd Street between Broadway and Central Park West.
Tickets are still available for La Noche Cubana, preservation organization Landmark West’s tribute and birthday party for founder Arlene Simon. The event takes place at the old Calle Ocho space (446 Columbus Avenue) on January 19 from 8 to 10 p.m. For people who sign up using a special code for West Side Rag readers, they’ll take 10% off the price. General admission to the bash is $75, and $50 for students. The code is WSRAG10 if you buy your tickets through eventbrite.
