Goodfellas actor Paul Sorvino was hit by a car while hailing a cab on the corner of 79th Street and Amsterdam Avenue on Saturday at around noon and taken to St. Luke’s hospital. Sorvino, who played mob boss Paul Cicero in Goodfellas and has been in dozens of other movies, “was in shock, and one side of his body is bruised, but he is okay,” his rep told the New York Post.

In another crash earlier on Saturday, a father and son went to St. Luke’s hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries when a tow truck rammed into their car after they had stopped short, DNAinfo reported.
