It's Father's Day, and there are plenty of ways to celebrate in and around the neighborhood.

Here’s some background on the Stonewall Uprising and Pride March, which is taking place in New York City this afternoon.

There will be a fireworks display on Pier 97, which is in the Hudson River at 57th Street, at 10:15 p.m. on Sunday night as part of Gay Pride festivities.
